It's always nice to be called vile and hateful. Rosie O' Donnell got married in San Fran, because she could, since the genius that is Mayor Gavin Newsom decides to break the law and issue marriage licences to gays and lesbians. "I think the actions of the president are, in my opinion, the most vile and hateful words ever spoken by a sitting president," said O'Donnell. "I am stunned and I'm horrified. I find this proposed amendment very, very, very, very shocking. And immoral." T...

Don't expect a documentary. This is a film, based on writings from many years ago, and filtered through a director's singular vision. It perturbs me to hear people complain that "That's not the way it happened." Is there someone alive today that was there to verify everything? Does someone have it on video? Is it recorded on someone's daily blog? Um, no. It's the same argument about books, of any sort, being made into films. Something's gonna be left out, changed, expanded, etc. A ...

Former Senator Max Cleland is bashing Bush, again. The same man using his Vietnam war record, where he didn't lose limbs on the battlefield but from a dropped grenade on a non-combat mission, is claiming that Bush is "attacking" John Kerry's voting record, where Kerry' record is weak on military issues. These "attacks" come, not from Bush, but from Bush supporter Sen. Saxby Chamblis, who was speaking for the Bush re-election campaign. Chamblis said Kerry has a “32-year history of voting...

From the Washington Times: The Daily News reported Monday that rock star Moby, a Kerry supporter, expressed hope of dampening Republican turnout in November by spreading anti-Bush gossip on the Internet. "For example, you can go on all the pro-life chat rooms and say you're an outraged right-wing voter and that you know that George Bush drove an ex-girlfriend to an abortion clinic and paid for her to get an abortion," the newspaper quoted the techno-rocker saying, adding: "Moby didn't c...

Clark, after conceding, apparently told a reporter, "off-the-record", that Kerry will "implode over an intern issue." Another Democrat with intern trouble? Say it ain't so!!! And by the way... who wants to take bets on which of the big 3 networks will bring it up? My money's on ABC, since they recently admitted a liberal bias in the media. But... I won't hold my breath, since I still haven't heard of any of them talking about Kerry's 1971 admission that he heard of Vietnam Vets rando...

Tim Russert intervied President Bush about.... well, everything. Here are some excerpts: Russert: Shouldn't the American people have the benefit of the commission (investigating pre-war intelligence) before the election? President Bush: Well, the reason why we gave it time is because we didn't want it to be hurried. This is a strategic look, kind of a big picture look about the intelligence gathering capacities of the United States of America, whether it be the capacity to gather intelli...

DEAN LOSES SUPPORT FASTER THAN JANET Democratic candidate Howard "I Have A Scream" Dean lost support from one union, the American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees, fearing that Dean's losing campaign will negatively impact the union. KERRY ATTACKS REPUBS. & BUSH..... AGAIN..... Kerry, after winning Washington and Michigan, said, "This week George Bush and the Republican smear machine have trotted out the same old tired lines of attack that they’ve used before to divide ...

Out of left field comes this accusation: Robert Blake's defense blamed Marlon Brando's son, Christian, in a court hearing Tuesday for the slaying of Blake's wife and said that the younger Brando is currently a fugitive. Apparently, he said Bonnie "deserved to have a bullet put through her head." Let's see: Blake walks Bonnie to car, Bonnie gets in, Blake goes back into Vitello's to get gun he says dropped, something he "didn't feel", goes into the bathroom to puke, comes out, Bonnie de...

"Wardrobe malfunction" is the dumbest phrase I've heard since a local newscaster called an "expert's" analysis of the 9/11 attacks as "informed speculation." I've heard people say that the farting horse in the Budweiser ad made their kids laugh, because, of course, what kid WOULDN'T laugh at that? True, but it was a BEER ad, not an ad for a Barbie horse-drawn carriage. Now MTV & CBS claim they did not expect that, and Timberlake apologized. Why? It makes no difference to Timber or Janet, ...

The virus has struck. I received an e-mail from the Server Subsystem Undeliverable Mail Daemon blah-blah yesterday. My computer had never been it by any of the viruses running around, because I always shut my DSL off if I'm not using it. That, plus Norton, Ad-Aware, Zone Alarm, etc. DO NOT OPEN ATTACHMENTS!!!!! I avoided the virus by doing just that, not opening the attachment. What made me laugh was the fact that the subject in the email said my mail was UNDELIVERABLE.... funny, si...

Hello, everyone... I've decided to post a journal of sorts, here on this blog page. For those who don't know, and that included me for a while, a blog is a web log, a place where people can post their thoughts, activities, etc. on the web for all to see, without the cost of a personal website. I will be sharing my opinion on the day's events, what's happening in my world as I look for a substantial place of employment, quick movie reviews, and other things as they come to mind. I'll upda...
