rising against the injustice of... the law?
It's always nice to be called vile and hateful.
Rosie O' Donnell got married in San Fran, because she could, since the genius that is Mayor Gavin Newsom decides to break the law and issue marriage licences to gays and lesbians. "I think the actions of the president are, in my opinion, the most vile and hateful words ever spoken by a sitting president," said O'Donnell. "I am stunned and I'm horrified. I find this proposed amendment very, very, very, very shocking. And immoral." That's FOUR very's. And, in alphabetical order: Hateful. Horrified. Immoral. Shocking. Stunned. Vile.
And these words are attributed to the following statement from President Bush:
"Today I call upon the Congress to promptly pass and to send to the states for ratification an amendment to our Constitution defining and protecting marriage as a union of a man and woman as husband and wife."
So since I feel the same as President Bush, I can claim my OWN self as being hateful, horrified, immoral, etc., in accordance with the Gospel According to Rosie.
I'd like to tell the arrogant O'Donnell that she's obnoxious, nasty, disrespectful, pompous, oh, and vile and hateful. But I won't, because I don't like to label people who I don't know. Unless they deserve it.
